The Breakfast includes fresh, local specialties and eggs from own chickens. It was like waking up to a delicious farm-to-table feast each morning! The flavors were so fresh and vibrant, it felt like the chickens had personally delivered the eggs to my plate.

I recently had a very pleasant stay in a charming hotel just outside of Amsterdam. The hotel's attention to detail and friendly staff made my stay truly enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, with lovely beds that ensured a good night's sleep. The hotel's location, surrounded by a beautiful garden with donkeys and chickens, provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of high-quality products to choose from.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't fault anything.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the heart of a historic town. The spacious room was beautifully decorated and the separate living area was a great bonus. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, especially the local specialty "sugar bread". The staff were friendly and accommodating. This charming hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of a picturesque town. Enjoy a relaxing stay in the spacious and clean rooms, with some of them even having their own terrace. Indulge in a delicious breakfast and take a stroll in the serene rear garden, where you can find some friendly donkeys.
Some rooms may lack proper sound isolation, making it difficult to fully enjoy some of the hotel's amenities in peace.

Het Weeshuis felt like a fairytale with beautiful lights in the garden, a cozy room with a small living room, and a stunning view from the terrace. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast had a wide variety of drinks and food. Bolsward is a beautiful city with sights to explore, and we enjoyed a delicious Italian meal nearby.

What a wonderful stay! The building was beautiful and full of character. The breakfast was amazing with a range of tasty options, including a local speciality. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. One of the best parts was the location, with easy access to nearby attractions and stunning views of the surrounding area from our room.
While the lack of air-conditioning was a bit inconvenient, it wasn't a major issue. the limited parking made it a bit tricky to find a spot upon our late arrival.

For the price we paid, the value was exceptional. The room was surprisingly spacious and had a separate sitting area with a TV. The location was great for exploring Southwest Friesland, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast offerings could be improved by having more individual tables instead of one big table, as it can get a bit crowded and noisy when other guests are nearby.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming hotel with great facilities. The location is perfect as it is in the heart of the town and the rear garden is a lovely spot to relax. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional and the breakfast was delightful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Nothing, all was good.

First of all, the location was perfect for us adventurous teenagers. We rented bikes from the hotel and explored the beautiful countryside of Southwest Friesland. The cycling routes were amazing, and we had a blast riding through the picturesque towns and along the scenic canals. It was such a cool experience!
The only thing we wished for was a lively nightlife scene nearby. As young party-goers, we would have loved to have some options for dancing and socializing in the evenings.

We stayed at Het Weeshuis for a weekend getaway. The atmosphere was great and the rooms were spacious, perfect for our family. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast included fresh bread, pastries, and a delicious local bread/cake. The location was ideal for exploring Southwest Friesland. The rooms were beautifully decorated and felt more like suites. We even had a private terrace to visit the donkeys. The dinner in their restaurant was a set menu, but it was absolutely perfect along with the wine pairing. The hosts, Mylan and Manon, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. it was an even better experience than our previous visit.
I recommend this hotel.
